How every service begins
Regardless of which service you choose, the process at Loceng Kencana follows the same opening steps. The watch is received, examined on the bench, and its condition noted. We then share those findings with you before any work begins.
This is not a formality. It is how we make sure that what happens to your watch is what you actually want — and that you understand what is being done and why. The work only proceeds once you are comfortable with the plan.
If the assessment reveals that the service you originally enquired about does not quite match what the piece needs, we will say so — clearly and without pressure — and suggest what might be more appropriate.
Receive & Examine
The watch is examined carefully on the bench. Its condition is noted in detail.
Share Findings
We explain what we found and what the service would involve. You decide how to proceed.
Carry Out the Work
Work begins at an agreed pace. If anything changes, we stop and inform you.
Return & Explain
The watch is returned with a clear account of what was done and any care suggestions.

Heritage Movement Overhaul
A patient overhaul for older mechanical watches, carried out with respect for their age and character. The movement is cleaned, serviced, and lubricated, keeping original parts wherever they can still do their work. Suited to owners of inherited pieces who value authenticity.
